 | Barefoot Saddles
The Barefoot saddles are anatomically designed to adapt closely to the shape of the horse's back, without a rigid tree and flexible in all directions, and therefore give an ideal fit to most horses.
Each Barefoot saddle has a thick, moulded, pressure absorbing panel on either side of the horse's spine, creating a gullet for improved spine clearance. The panels distribute the rider's weight to an optimum without causing pressure points. With the VPS - System (Vertebrae Protection System) the panels underneath the saddle absorb pressure even better and ensure spinal clearance.
The saddle has a high cantle made of semi-elastic material which is anatomically shaped to the horse & rider and therefore enhances the horse's freedom of movement. It encourages engagement of the hindquarters and vertical flexion of the back.
The Barefoot has a robust, removable lightweight fibreglass insert in the pommel, and the cantle is constructed of thick, flexible foam. As standard, the saddle comes with the medium pommel insert. The pommel insert is interchangeable and is available to purchase separately in different widths.

  | Barefoot Cheyenne
The Barefoot Cheyenne is a general purpose saddle made of open pore cow hide, particular popular for riders who wish to sit freely as the saddle moulds to the shape of the horse whilst allowing the rider's legs to be placed freely without being held in position by knee rolls.
Light coloured thick fleece underside and leather trim.
The Cheyenne weighs in at only 5 kg (11 lb)!
The Barefoot Cheyenne is available in three sizes and two colours. Please note that the waiting time for a size 0 is around 12 weeks.
Size 0 = appx. 15" - 15.5" English treed saddle, for children and riders with a dress size 4-8
Size 1 = appx. 16.5"-17" English treed saddle, for riders with a dress size 10-12

 | Barefoot Cheyenne Drytex
The Barefoot Drytex is a synthetic version of the Barefoot Cheyenne saddle.
Drytex is a water-repellent faux leather with a slightly grained structure. Nylon trim. The Drytex saddle is very light weight and can just be washed down with a sponge!
Weight 4 kg (9 lb).
The Barefoot Drytex is available in three sizes and two colours. Size 0 only available in black. If ordering a size 0, please contact us for availability.

  | Barefoot London - Treeless Dressage Saddle
The Barefoot London has dressage cut flaps and is made of soft cow hide.
The saddle provides the deep seat and close contact feel typical for all Barefoot saddles. The London will enable you to feel your horse’s muscles and movements which provides the foundation for very refined riding.
The Barefoot London also features a deep, softly cushioned and very secure seat; black, dense fleece underside with leather edging and cushioned knee rolls (velcro-on blocks, delivered in two sizes, can be freely posititioned for rider's comfort). 6 D-Rings to attach saddle pad and accessories.
The leather on the Barefoot London has been double reinforced in all areas that may carry pressure from the rider (stirrup attachment, saddle flaps and rigging attachment).

   | Barefoot Cherokee - Treeless GP Saddle
The Cherokee model is a versatile saddle, ideal for endurance and trekking.
The Cherokee gives excellent wither clearance and has a higher cantle than the Cheyenne and London..
The Barefoot Cherokee is made of pliable open pore cow hide, dirt repellant and surface treated, with leather edging and a black soft fleece underside. Seven D-rings and leather straps in front and back of the saddle provide many possibilities to attach saddle bags etc.
The Cherokee comes with a pair of detachable kneerolls, which can be positioned to suit each rider.
The Barefoot Cherokee weighs in at only 6 kg (13 lb)!
The Barefoot Cherokee is available in two sizes and in black or brown/black combination leather.
Also available as Cherokee Classic with a more refined, classical look without the horse head decoration, leather conchas and leather tassels (see bottom picture). Available in Black only. The Cherokee Classic is suitable for dressage, endurance, pleasure and jumping over small obstacles
